SafetyLine Protects
Lone Workers At All Three Levels of Government
Vancouver, BC, August 8, 2003 – Tsunami is pleased
to announce that Environment Canada has chosen SafetyLine
to monitor their remote workers.
Employees of Environment Canada work in some of the most
remote locations in North America. Every day they are in
potential danger of accident or even attacks by animals.
With either cellular phones or satellite phones, workers
communicate their status and location to the SafetyLine
automated monitoring system. In the event of an emergency
situation SafetyLine is guaranteed to detect the event and
notify rescue personnel providing them with the location
of the worker in trouble.
SafetyLine is now protecting the employees of all three
levels of government in Canada. Now each morning employees
of government, whether they are looking for grizzly bears
or cougars, collecting water samples, serving summons,
searching for Poachers, traveling to remote locations( by
land, air or water), etc., can be assured that their
safety is being monitored by SafetyLine. In urban and
rural areas employees who enforce bylaws or work late in
recreation centres are protected against violence in the
workplace while working alone. These are several examples
of the tasks that employees of all levels of government
face every day on the job.
SafetyLine is currently monitoring over 60 companies or
organizations with thousands of employees across Canada
each and every day to protect their workers who work alone
or in isolation.
Many organizations are discovering the SafetyLine Safety
Monitoring Service. SafetyLine has proven itself to be the
best solution as it is both more reliable and less costly
than alternative solutions. SafetyLine has been engineered
for fast and simple field operations. The SafetyLine
system allows a field worker to report his status and
location in under 20 seconds.
