BC Ministries Use SafetyLine to Monitor Safety of Lone
Workers
Vancouver, BC, April 23, 2003 — Tsunami Solutions
Ltd., of Vancouver, British Columbia, is pleased to add
British Columbia Government Employees to its growing list
of Customers.
All employers in British Columbia and throughout Canada
are required to monitor the safety status and location of
all workers who work alone or in isolation.
The SafetyLine automated Lone Worker Monitoring service
uses telephony and internet technologies to provide the
most reliable and affordable solution for companies and
government organizations to meet both the regulatory and
moral obligations of protecting employees who work alone.
There are currently over forty-five companies and
government organizations with thousands of employees
throughout North America that use the SafetyLine solution
to help protect their employees.
As of April 1st, 2003, the British Columbia Ministries of
Water, Land, and Air Protection and Sustainable Resources
have over 700 employees being monitored by the SafetyLine
service. These employees are located throughout the
province in some of the most remote areas possible on both
land and water.
Throughout the workday, employees report their location
and status to SafetyLine. SafetyLine automatically tracks
the employees. In the event that an employee fails to
check-in, SafetyLine automatically contacts persons who
can initiate an Emergency Search and Rescue procedure.
SafetyLine is ideal for all sizes of organizations and can
provide local, national, and international coverage.
