Vancouver, BC, Aug 8, 2007-Tsunami Solutions Ltd., of Vancouver, British Columbia is pleased to pleased to introduce the SafetyLine - Health & Home Care Employee Safety Monitoring System designed specifically to protect field health & home service caregivers. For more information on SafetyLine - Health & Home Care  go to : http://www.safetyline.ca/sl_Health/index.htm

More and more health care services are being provided to patients who are at home. For the field worker who is working alone, entering people's homes may be a dangerous situation. To protect these workers the SafetyLine, Employee Safety Monitoring Service can be used. The SafetyLine Health & Home Care  service provides each caregiver an Emergency Key FOB.  When in trouble, pressing the PANIC button instantly sends a message to SafetyLine which in turn contacts Emergency Responders. What makes this system unique is the integration of our Location Based Services (LBS) that sends the exact location of the caregiver to SafetyLine whenever a PANIC is signaled. SafetyLine then plots the location on a "Google Earth" map which can be accessed by the Emergency Responders on any wired or wireless Internet device.

If the caregiver is in trouble and cannot press the PANIC button our Emergency Key FOB has the ability to detect motion. If no motion is detected for a period of time (i.e. the caregiver is unconscious) the FOB will automatically transmit the PANIC message and employee's location so that help can be dispatched.

Across Canada there exist Safety Regulations that are designed to protect our Community Health Care Workers from the dangers associated with Working Alone, in particular Violence in the Workplace. These healthcare employees Workplace are private homes in the community. If a community health worker gets into a dangerous situation, at a remote location, SafetyLine has been proven to be the most effective tool to automatically monitor the safety of these workers and identify Emergency situations.

Tsunami Solutions Ltd. has developed the SafetyLine Lone Worker Monitoring service specifically to help employers provide an effective yet reasonably priced solution to the Lone Worker Safety Problem. All that is required is a cellular phone.

The SafetyLine automated employee monitoring service uses telephony and internet technologies to provide the most reliable and affordable solution for companies and government organizations to meet both the regulatory and moral obligations of protecting employees who work alone. Employees can use a wide range of devices including wired telephones, cellular phones, satellite phones, wireless Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), GPS devices, wireless and wired laptop computers as well as standard office computers. Throughout the workday, employees report location and status. SafetyLine automatically tracks the employees' locations and keeps a record. In the event that an employee fails to check-in, SafetyLine automatically contacts persons who can initiate an Emergency Search and Rescue procedure. In the case of a panic emergency the employee can summon help by pressing one button.
