SafetyLine Teams with Canadian Corps of Commissionaires - National Monitoring Centre

December 10, 04 VANCOUVER, BC - Tsunami Solutions Ltd. is pleased to announce that The Commissionaires National Monitoring Centre (NMC) has entered into an agreement to support SafetyLine by monitoring organizations in industry and government who require a live response for employees when they work or travel alone. SafetyLine will assist the Corps in their monitoring operations to individuals who work or travel alone by enabling earlier identification of and reaction to employee emergencies. This relationship between SafetyLine and the NMC is yet another link in facilitating a responsive and safer work environment for employees. This communication link will also assist organizations in addressing their compliance requirements to have a live communication link in their emergency response plans for Working Alone legislation.

The SafetyLine automated Lone Worker Monitoring service uses telephony and internet technologies to provide the most reliable and affordable solution for companies and government organizations to meet both the regulatory and moral obligations of protecting employees who work or travel alone. Alan Crooks, VP Sales for Tsunami says, “The SafetyLine product has proven to be excellent at alerting companies when their workers are in potential and real emergency situations. At the point of a false or true emergency, we need to communicate with the worker or those who look out for his safety as quickly and effectively as possible. SafetyLine and The Commissionaires National Monitoring Centre will result in a much enhanced safety environment for those people that work alone or in isolation”. “Simply put, the role of the NMC is to assess, detect, respond and if required, to coordinate recovery. NMC personnel are trained to acknowledge an emergency and react as the situation and client require. Operators do what they do best respond to emergency incidents 24/7, leaving company personnel free to conduct their business.” Brian Craig, CEO of The Commissionaires - NMC.

SafetyLine is currently monitoring thousands of employees across Canada each and every day to protect workers who travel, or work alone or in isolation. Many organizations are discovering the SafetyLine Safety Monitoring Service to be the best solution as it is both more reliable and more cost effective than alternative solutions.
