SafetyLine™ chosen as
Working Alone Solution for the Government of British
Columbia
Vancouver – May 20, 2005. Tsunami Solutions Ltd.
is pleased to announce that we have been awarded,
through a competitive tendering process, a Corporate
Supply Arrangement to supply Employee Notification and
Safety Monitoring Services to all employees of the 19
ministries of the province.
The Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection have had
nearly a thousand of their workers being protected by
SafetyLine™ over the past two years and will continue to
use SafetyLine™ under this new agreement. The Ministry of
the Attorney General and Treaty Negotiations will be the
first new Ministry to have their employees added under
the new agreement.
“Being selected through a public tendering process is
extremely gratifying as I believe it clearly
demonstrates that SafetyLine™ is both effective and
economical. Even before this new agreement, SafetyLine™
has been monitoring thousands of remote workers on a
daily basis making SafetyLine™ the defacto standard in
Lone Worker Monitoring across Canada. I would like to
thank the Government of British Columbia for having the
confidence in SafetyLine™ and Tsunami to select us to
protect the employees of the province.” says Thomas
Touhey, President of Tsunami Solutions.
