SafetyLine Protects
Municipal Employees Across Canada
Vancouver, BC, October 27, 2003—Tsunami Solutions
Ltd., of Vancouver, British Columbia, is pleased to add
two more municipalities to the growing list of
Municipalities, Provincial and Federal government
departments and agencies who have chosen SafetyLine as
the most effective and affordable means to protect their
employees who work alone or in isolation.
The two new customers are Cochrane, Alberta and
Haldimand County, Ontario.
Municipalities have many employees that are required to
work alone or in isolation. These employees include
Parks and Recreation workers, Utility workers, Land fill
site workers, bylaw enforcement officers, building
inspectors, and animal control officers. Regulations
across Canada have been implemented to ensure that these
Lone Workers receive the same level of protection as
those workers who work in offices or work yards.
SafetyLine has been proven to be the most effective tool
in the marketplace to automatically monitor these
workers and identify Emergency situations.
The SafetyLine automated Lone Worker Monitoring service
uses telephony and internet technologies to provide the
most reliable and affordable solution for companies and
government organizations to meet both the regulatory and
moral obligations of protecting employees who work
alone.
Employees are currently using a wide range of devices
including wired telephones, cellular phones, satellite
phones, one and two way pagers, wireless Personal
Digital Assistants (PDAs), GPS devices, wireless and
wired laptop computers as well as standard office
computers. SafetyLine works with most devices and
communication networks, in short, SafetyLine works with
your existing communication devices.
Throughout the workday, employees report their location
and status to SafetyLine. SafetyLine automatically
tracks the employees. In the event that an employee
fails to check-in, SafetyLine automatically contacts
persons who can initiate an Emergency Search and Rescue
procedure.
